The February 15th Program will be:
AMERICA’S BIGGEST EMERALD FINDS: HIDDENITE, NC. Career geologist Ed Speer, who has a long history of gems and gold exploration and mining experience, will speak about his successes in discovering emerald deposits. Ed is presently consulting for a group in the Hiddenite, NC Emerald District which has produced the largest Emerald finds in the US. His recently published field trip guidebook on this gem district will be available for purchase.
